Safe Delivery Of Your Purchases Is Our Priority
Every purchase is carefully packaged to avoid damage and to protect your investment. While sometimes it is a mess on the receiving end to deal with the packing peanuts and bubble wrap, we feel it incredibly important that your items are well cushioned and protected when we ship them to you.
In The Case Of A Return
While it rarely happens, sometimes you will want to return an item. When this happens we ask that you do the following:
1) Let us know as soon as possible and absolutely within the three-day inspection window.
2) Let us know how you intend to ship the item back to us. As we are often on the road at shows or looking at collections, it is best to ship the items to our PO Box, which is safe and secure even when we are out of town.
3) Depending on the circumstances related to the return, you may be responsible for a re-stocking fee. Please refer to your Terms & Conditions for more information about returns.
We Ship By USPS Priority Mail
Nearly all of our items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. A flat fee to offset the cost of packing materials and shipping costs is charged for all items to be delivered in the Continental US. Delivery outside the Continental US is much more expensive, with the minimum fee for most Priority Mail International deliveries around $50. All items are trackable on line, and if you provide an email address, we will provide tracking information when you item(s) ship. They typically arrive in 2-3 business days. In most instances we purchase insurance from USPS that covers the deductible of our business shipping insurance. If that amount is $500 or more, USPS requires that a signature be obtained upon delivery. We prefer to send all items signature required so the post office does not just leave the item(s) on your door step or in your mail box, where they could be stolen. If you specify that you do not want signature confirmation on your delivery, we can accept no responsibility for any loss that occurs if your package is simply left at your delivery location by the mail carrier. Please note that some items like Ballistol and Kramer's Best cannot be shipped by Priority Mail. These items must be shipped by UPS Ground Service with an ORM-D tag. Items shipped by UPS Ground typically take 3-5 business days to arrive. If you require other shipping services such as overnight delivery, Fed Ex, etc. please contact us to quote those special rates.
We Ship As Quickly As We Can
In many cases, your item will ship the next business day from the date that payment is received. Customers that are not known to use, who are paying via personal check will need to wait until the check clears before we ship the item. For credit card orders, items usually ship the next business day. Due to our travel schedule it is sometimes impossible to ship your item until we are back in Nashville. In those cases, we will let you know when you place your order that shipping will be delayed and will provide an estimate of the shipping date. While small items such as books and bayonets can often be shipped from the road if we have the inventory with us, larger items such as long guns are simply impractical to ship safely while we are traveling and will only be shipped upon our return to Nashville.
